About The Series

Marigold’s Magic Stars is the first book in an enchanting new series that takes you on a creative journey through Marigold's world of arts, crafts, and inventive thinking. In this heartwarming tale, Marigold discovers that being smart comes in many forms—especially when it involves a bit of creativity and a lot of heart.

Marigold’s Magic Stars isn’t just a story; it’s an invitation for every child to explore their creativity and find their own unique way of shining bright. With Marigold as their creative friend, kids will learn that "you can't spell smart without art!"—a lesson that will stay with them long after the final page.

@samanthawills

“As a kid, I saw 'smart' defined by academic achievements, which made me question my own value—my own—or rather, lack of—'smart'—because my strengths and interests were much more in creativity and the arts.

This book is, in a way, my origin story, a message to young readers that being creative is being smart.

It's a reminder to those who see the world through a creative lens, encouraging them to embrace their unique talents and the message that 'you can't spell ‘smart’ without ‘art!'”

"Helping bring Marigold to life felt like taking a trip back in time to my own childhood, always making and creating, with paint on my hands and stray glitter on my face. Nothing felt more exciting than a new set of pencils or a fresh pad of paper, and if I’m honest not much has changed!

Like Marigold, I too would doubt my special talents and needed a little reminding that we are all clever and unique in different ways.

I feel so privileged to be a part of such a special story that reminds us that small people are capable of big, wonderful, magical things!"
